Chris comes to us with extensive experience in office administration in private industry; municipal government and educational institutions where her communication skills, problem solving abilities and time-management strengths were highly respected. These qualities have proven invaluable as she embraces the complex responsibilities associated with the role of Administrative Assistant to Keray Regan. Chris has enjoyed the challenge of becoming familiar with the wide scope of products and services we avail to our clients. Her professionalism and attention to detail ensures our clients’ are well cared for.
Chris and her son relocated to Armstrong three years ago. Shawn, an ex-hockey player, is a student and ‘full-time social snowboarder’ (no time for hockey!) Chris and Shawn have taken on the ambitious task of renovating and landscaping their new home. When they are not busy with this ‘do it yourself’ project they are usually camping somewhere in the Okanagan—which is seasonally replaced by snowboarding for Shawn.

Whether you meet her in person, or on the telephone, you will be warmed by Vera’s sunny disposition and her genuine desire to ensure you are directed to the right department or individual to find your answer or meet your need. Aside from ‘directing traffic’, Vera also looks after our GIC and ING clients along with Susan Moller.
The role of front-office receptionist is varied and demanding, with many ‘behind the scene’ responsibilities that, unfortunately, are only visible in their absence. We are most appreciative of the talents and expertise Vera brings to us from her eclectic career in retail and wholesale environments to support the smooth flow of the office. It’s obvious that Vera loves working with people and this generosity of spirit extends to the community as well through her volunteer work at the homeless shelter. Vera returned to Vernon in 2004 to care for her mother, which has given her mother the opportunity to continue living in her own home. A valuable gift indeed.
